Join us for the opening of A Year and a Day, a solo exhibition by Aubrey Sloan at Stark Street Studios & Gallery.
This installation-focused exhibition explores working-class labor, motherhood, and the unseen labor that carries life through time. Centered around a 365-piece ceramic installation, the work reflects daily repetition, cyclical experience, and the endurance embedded in lived time.
The exhibition is presented within Stark Street Studios, a long-standing working pottery studio in Southeast Portland that has supported generations of artists for over 40 years. Its history as a space for working-class makers grounds the context of the show.
